OMT and Sagesse Club renew strategic partnership
In a move that underscores the growing intersection between sports and technology, OMT and Sagesse Club have officially renewed their partnership for the second consecutive year, for the 2025–2026 basketball season.
The announcement was made during a press conference held at Voco Hotel in Beirut, attended by Sagesse Club Honorary President MP Jihad Pakradouni, Sagesse Club President Me. Ragheb Haddad, OMT Executive Vice Chairman Ms. Joya Mouawad, OMT Chief Executive Officer Mr. Naji Abou Zeid, members of the Sagesse basketball team, and representatives from both sides.
During the conference, Haddad emphasized that the partnership with OMT would extend beyond traditional sponsorships. “Our collaboration with OMT will include new financial initiatives and tailored services for our fans”, he said, describing OMT as a “strategic partner aligned with the club’s vision for the future.” Haddad also expressed his gratitude to OMT’s management for their “continuous support and trust in Sagesse Club and Lebanese sports,” expressing hope that the collaboration would evolve into an annual tradition.
For his part, Abou Zeid congratulated Sagesse Club on its new lineup and wished the team a successful season ahead. He described the partnership as an effort “to bridge the digital world with the world of sports — particularly basketball, which holds a unique place in the hearts of the Lebanese.” He went on to reveal that OMT is developing a new digital experience that will connect Sagesse fans with their team through OMT Pay app, set to launch soon.
The event concluded with a symbolic exchange of appreciation, as Pakradouni and Haddad presented Mouawad and Abou Zeid with signed Sagesse jerseys, followed by a commemorative photo capturing the spirit of partnership and mutual respect.
