Beware the scam behind the prize!

Fraudsters use social media to lure victims with fake contests.

Recently, a wave of online scams is targeting social media users with promises of cash rewards, smartphones, and other high-value prizes.

OMT reminds all customers to remain vigilant and follow these essential safety tips to avoid falling victim to financial fraud:

1. Do not enter or share your username, password, or OTP codes through untrusted or unfamiliar links. Legitimate companies will never ask for this information in such a way.

2. Never click on links from unknown or unverified social media accounts, especially those promising prizes, money, or gifts.

3. Always verify the source and confirm the authenticity of advertisements before taking any action.

If it looks too good to be true, it surely is a scam.
